Do we perceive things as they truly are? Can the assumption that we do leads to dangerous positions, as racism or xenophobia? This documentary reflects on issues like migration, border walls, and the restriction of human mobility from the perspective of people whose field of study could hardly be more detached from these issues: astronomers.

Reonghee and I are illegal aliens. Yesterday, Reonghee died while running away from the Immigrant Office Agents. The company we worked for is only concerned about covering up the mess. I'm going to find Reonghee, whose body the company has hidden somewhere, and give her a funeral that she deserves.

A detective declares: "The era of yakuza strutting around with authority is over." Yet the streets are now overrun with lawless rogues. Tommy (Yamaguchi Yoshiyuki) and Buchi (Suzuki Minoru) are a reckless duo, pretending to help women only to take advantage of them, skipping out on bills at cabaret clubs, and scraping by while living out of a car in a parking lot that costs just 1,200 yen a night. One day, however, they cross the wrong line. After targeting a store backed by yakuza, they find themselves in a heated conflict. Thinking they can extort the gangsters, they soon learn the harsh reality of provoking the true underworld.

Detective Matthew Sikes, a Los Angeles police officer reluctantly works with "Newcomer" alien George Francisco. Sikes also has an 'on again off again' flirtation with a female Newcomer, Cathy Frankel.

A look at the possible effect of recovered alien technology on our lives.

An alien vessel crashes on Earth and is discovered by Cindy, Shauna and Becky, three friends beginning what they think to be a casual vacation in the mountains. The alien creatures, escaping a death sentence on their own world, are motivated only by death, destruction and a taste for blood. Ultimately, nothing stands in the way of their gruesome carnage except Cindy, aided by Matt, another visitor from beyond the stars, sent to recover the ship and bring them to justice. Together, they set out to destroy the ship, though its destruction could strand Matt on Earth forever.

An orphaned teenager becomes involved with an alien who was beamed to Earth from another galaxy in a TV signal. Is the alien a dream come true or a harbinger of doom? Originally broadcast as part of "The Wide World of Mystery."
